A historic first for AWAKE Basketball
AWAKE Basketball is proud to announce that @jjoern has officially committed to Texas A&M University–Texarkana!
This is an incredible accomplishment for Jay and a proud moment for his family, coaches, teammates, and everyone who has supported his journey. His hard work, commitment, and dedication have created an opportunity for him to continue his academic and basketball career at the collegiate level.
This commitment also marks a major milestone in AWAKE Basketball history. The Class of 2027 will be the first graduating class in our program, and Jay has become the first AWAKE player to commit to play college basketball.
We are extremely proud of Jay and excited about what his future holds. This is only the beginning. A big year is loading, with many more commitments expected from our talented 2027 class.
Congratulations, Jay! You will always be a part of AWAKE history.
